Cuplock Swivel Clamp Brace
Engineered to international standards for safety, speed and durability on every job site.
Overview
The Cuplock Swivel Clamp Brace - also called a cuplock swivel clamp or cuplock lateral brace - is a diagonal bracing member that fastens to a cuplock standard with a swivel clamp at each end instead of a cup-and-blade head. Because the clamps grip the standard tube at any point, the brace can be set exactly where bracing, a guardrail or a stair handrail is needed, adding versatility beyond fixed cup connections. Offered in four stock sizes from 1.52 m (CCB50, 9.50 kgs) to 2.5 m (CCB82, 11.20 kgs) and hot-dip galvanized for site life, it is built to OSHA, ANSI and CSA guidelines with a 4:1 safety factor, ISO 9001 quality and FOB Shanghai delivery from ACE SCAFFOLD.

Key Features
- Ø48.3 mm Q235/Q345 carbon steel tube, hot-dip galvanized
- Swivel clamp at each end grips the standard at any point - no cups needed
- Forged swivel clamp tightens with a single bolt
- Four stock sizes: 1.52 m (9.50 kgs) to 2.5 m (11.20 kgs), HDG
- Lateral bracing, guardrails and stair handrails in one fitting
- Built to OSHA, ANSI and CSA guidelines, 4:1 safety factor, ISO 9001, FOB Shanghai
On a cuplock scaffold, the cuplock swivel clamp brace is the diagonal you reach for when a bay needs bracing at a point the cups do not line up - or when the same fitting has to double as a guardrail or stair handrail. It is made from Ø48.3 mm steel tube with a forged swivel clamp at each end. The swivel clamp rotates to the required angle and tightens onto the cuplock standard or ledger with a single bolt, biting firmly onto the tube - no cups, no wedges. A scaffold run can be raised with horizontals only for a maximum of three bays; the fourth bay must carry a diagonal so the structure stays plumb and shored, and a clamp brace can be positioned at any tube point to do that job. Because it clamps the tube rather than a rosette or cup, the same brace works on cuplock, ringlock and ordinary tube-and-clamp scaffolding. Our cuplock swivel clamp braces are hot-dip galvanized Q235/Q345 carbon steel, built to OSHA, ANSI and CSA guidelines with a 4:1 safety factor, ISO 9001 quality and FOB Shanghai delivery from ACE SCAFFOLD.
Cuplock Swivel Clamp Brace
The cuplock swivel clamp brace is a diagonal bracing member that fastens to a cuplock standard with a swivel clamp at each end instead of a cup-and-blade head, so it can be placed wherever the layout demands.
Swivel Clamp Connection
Each end carries a forged swivel clamp. The clamp swivels to the brace angle and is tightened onto the Ø48.3 standard or ledger with a single bolt, biting firmly onto the tube. No cup or wedge is needed, so a clamp brace can be added, moved or retrofitted without disturbing the rest of the bay.
Bracing, Guardrails & Stair Rails
A clamp brace serves three roles: lateral bracing to stiffen cuplock towers, guardrails and top rails on working platforms, and handrails on cuplock stair systems. One fitting covers all three, cutting the number of loose parts on site.
Hot-dip Galvanized
Every cuplock swivel clamp brace is hot-dip galvanized Q235/Q345 carbon steel for corrosion resistance on site, coastal and offshore projects, and is built to OSHA, ANSI and CSA guidelines with a 4:1 safety factor.
