Ringlock Scaffolding Clamp Brace
Engineered to international standards for safety, speed and durability on every job site.
Overview
The Ringlock Scaffolding Clamp Brace — often called a swivel clamp brace — is a diagonal bracing member that fastens to a ringlock standard with a swivel clamp at each end instead of a rosette wedge head. Because the clamps grip the standard tube at any point, the brace can be set exactly where bracing, a guardrail or a stair handrail is needed, adding versatility beyond fixed rosette connections.

Key Features
- Swivel clamps grip the standard at any point — no rosette needed
- Forged swivel clamp tightens with a single bolt
- Ø48.3×2.5 mm high-strength steel tube
- Lengths 6 ft / 7 ft / 8 ft / 10 ft (1.83–3.05 m)
- Lateral bracing, guardrails and stair handrails in one fitting
- Hot-dip galvanized Q235, EN 12810 / AS-NZS 1576 / OSHA
Where a ringlock diagonal brace locks into the rosette's large holes, a clamp brace clamps straight onto the standard wall, so it can be positioned at any height or angle — ideal for lateral bracing on towers, for tying off bays that miss the rosette, and for obtuse-angle mid-rails and top guardrails on stair systems. Each end carries a forged swivel clamp that swivels to the required angle and tightens onto the Ø48.3 standard with a single bolt, gripping firmly under load. Clamp braces are rolled from Ø48.3×2.5 mm high-strength steel tube in 6 ft, 7 ft, 8 ft and 10 ft lengths. Like the rest of the system, the ringlock clamp brace is hot-dip galvanized Q235 steel, built to EN 12810 / EN 12811, ANSI, AS/NZS 1576 and OSHA, with ISO 9001 quality and FOB Shanghai delivery from ACE SCAFFOLD.
The clamp brace braces anywhere. Rosette braces must land on a rosette; a clamp brace grips the standard tube at whatever point the layout demands, so bracing and handrails can be placed exactly where the engineer wants them.
Swivel Clamp Connection
Each end of a clamp brace carries a forged swivel clamp. The clamp swivels to the brace angle and is tightened onto the standard with one bolt, biting firmly onto the tube. No rosette is needed, so a clamp brace can be added, moved or retrofitted without disturbing the rest of the bay.
Bracing, Guardrails & Stair Rails
Clamp braces serve three roles: lateral bracing to stiffen ringlock and cuplock towers, obtuse-angle mid-rails and top guardrails on working platforms, and handrails on ringlock stair systems. One fitting covers all three, which cuts the number of loose parts on site.
Steel & Finish
Clamp braces are rolled from high-strength steel tube (Ø48.3×2.5 mm) and hot-dip galvanized for long service in site, coastal and offshore conditions. Welds and clamps are made for clean, flat, secure joints.
