Ringlock Scaffolding Console Bracket

Engineered to international standards for safety, speed and durability on every job site.

Overview

The Ringlock Scaffolding Console Bracket — known in the US market as a side bracket — is the wide cantilever arm that reaches the working platform well past the edge of a ringlock scaffold tower. It clips into the rosette on a standard and projects a steel-plank deck 1.065 m to 1.15 m (3'6" to 3'10") outward, so crews gain a full-width working level at the scaffold edge where a standard side bracket would not reach far enough.

Ringlock Scaffolding Console Bracket - Wide Cantilever Bracket

Key Features

  • Wide cantilever bracket — reaches the deck 1.065–1.15 m past the scaffold edge
  • Clips into the rosette with the standard ringlock wedge
  • Ø48.3×3.2 mm high-strength steel tube
  • Three reaches: 1.065 / 1.09 / 1.15 m (3'6" / 3'7" / 3'10")
  • Hook-on steel planks carried directly
  • Hot-dip galvanized Q345/S355, EN 12810 / AS-NZS 1576 / OSHA

On site, a console bracket is the go-to when the platform must cantilever further than a standard board bracket allows. It drops into the rosette with the standard ringlock wedge connection and reaches the plank deck 1.065 m, 1.09 m or 1.15 m out from the tower, giving a wide, stable working level for façade work, cladding, glazing and inspection at the scaffold edge. The bracket size follows the steel plank in use, so it always matches the deck it carries. Like the rest of the system, the ringlock console bracket is rolled from Ø48.3×3.2 mm high-strength steel tube, hot-dip galvanized to Q345/S355 and built to EN 12810 / EN 12811, ANSI, AS/NZS 1576 and OSHA (designed and tested to a 4:1 safety factor), with ISO 9001 quality and FOB Shanghai delivery from ACE SCAFFOLD.

The console bracket reaches the platform well past the edge.

Wide Cantilever, Not a New Bay

The console bracket clips into the rosette on a standard with the standard ringlock wedge, projecting the deck 1.065–1.15 m (3'6"–3'10") outward. It adds a full working level without erecting another bay or extra standards — fast to fit and remove.

Sized to the Plank

Console brackets are sized by the steel plank in use: 1.065 m (3'6", RSSB106), 1.09 m (3'7", RSSB109) and 1.15 m (3'10", RSSB115). Pick the reach that matches your plank so the deck sits level and secure.

Hook-on Planks Direct

For hook-on steel planks the bracket carries the plank directly off the cantilever arm. The bracket is rolled from Ø48.3×3.2 mm high-strength steel tube, hot-dip galvanized for site and coastal use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q
What is a ringlock scaffolding console bracket?
A ringlock scaffolding console bracket — known in the US as a side bracket — is the wide cantilever arm that reaches a working platform 1.065–1.15 m (3'6"–3'10") past the edge of a ringlock scaffold tower. It clips into the rosette on a standard and projects a steel-plank deck outward so crews gain a full-width working level at the scaffold edge where a standard board bracket would not reach far enough.
Q
How far does a ringlock console bracket reach?
Console brackets come in three reaches to match the steel plank in use: 1.065 m (3'6", RSSB106), 1.09 m (3'7", RSSB109) and 1.15 m (3'10", RSSB115). Choose the model whose reach matches your plank width so the cantilevered deck sits level and secure.
Q
How does a console bracket connect to the scaffold?
It clips into the rosette on a standard with the standard ringlock wedge connection — the same wedge used by ledgers and braces. No extra fittings are needed, so a console bracket can be added, moved or removed without disturbing the rest of the bay.
Q
What material and finish are ringlock console brackets made of?
They are rolled from Ø48.3×3.2 mm high-strength steel tube in Q345/S355 steel, hot-dip galvanized for corrosion resistance on site, coastal and offshore projects. Welds and fittings are made for clean, flat, secure joints.
Q
Do ringlock console brackets fit hook-on steel planks?
Yes. For hook-on steel planks the bracket carries the plank directly off the cantilever arm. The bracket size follows the plank in use so the deck it carries always matches.
Q
What standards do ringlock console brackets meet?
The ringlock console bracket is built to EN 12810 / EN 12811, ANSI and AS/NZS 1576, and is designed and tested to OSHA/ANSI/CSA guidelines with a 4:1 safety factor. It is supplied under ISO 9001 quality with FOB Shanghai delivery from ACE SCAFFOLD.
