Overview

The Ringlock Scaffolding Console Bracket — known in the US market as a side bracket — is the wide cantilever arm that reaches the working platform well past the edge of a ringlock scaffold tower. It clips into the rosette on a standard and projects a steel-plank deck 1.065 m to 1.15 m (3'6" to 3'10") outward, so crews gain a full-width working level at the scaffold edge where a standard side bracket would not reach far enough.

On site, a console bracket is the go-to when the platform must cantilever further than a standard board bracket allows. It drops into the rosette with the standard ringlock wedge connection and reaches the plank deck 1.065 m, 1.09 m or 1.15 m out from the tower, giving a wide, stable working level for façade work, cladding, glazing and inspection at the scaffold edge. The bracket size follows the steel plank in use, so it always matches the deck it carries. Like the rest of the system, the ringlock console bracket is rolled from Ø48.3×3.2 mm high-strength steel tube, hot-dip galvanized to Q345/S355 and built to EN 12810 / EN 12811, ANSI, AS/NZS 1576 and OSHA (designed and tested to a 4:1 safety factor), with ISO 9001 quality and FOB Shanghai delivery from ACE SCAFFOLD.

Wide Cantilever, Not a New Bay

The console bracket clips into the rosette on a standard with the standard ringlock wedge, projecting the deck 1.065–1.15 m (3'6"–3'10") outward. It adds a full working level without erecting another bay or extra standards — fast to fit and remove.

Sized to the Plank

Console brackets are sized by the steel plank in use: 1.065 m (3'6", RSSB106), 1.09 m (3'7", RSSB109) and 1.15 m (3'10", RSSB115). Pick the reach that matches your plank so the deck sits level and secure.

Hook-on Planks Direct

For hook-on steel planks the bracket carries the plank directly off the cantilever arm. The bracket is rolled from Ø48.3×3.2 mm high-strength steel tube, hot-dip galvanized for site and coastal use.
