Overview

The Steel Plank 9.5" Wide — also called a 240 mm low-profile steel scaffold plank — is a wider, flatter steel walking surface for scaffold platforms, access walkways and working decks. At 240 mm across it gives crews a little more foot room than the standard 228 mm plank without adding much depth, making it a popular choice for narrow-frame systems, low-profile towers and jobs where a wider board improves comfort without changing the scaffold geometry.

A 9.5" steel plank is built as a pressed-steel deck with a flat or lightly profiled top surface and hooked or plain ends that sit on the scaffold transoms. The 240 mm width matches frames, braces and accessories that accept a slightly wider board, while the shallow profile keeps the platform height low — useful for interior fit-out, facade maintenance and low-level access where headroom or step height matters. Each plank is cut and punched from Q235 steel and given a pre-galvanized coating that protects the surface during transport, storage and normal site handling. The ASP110 through ASP10 range covers short 0.60 m boards up to 3.05 m long walkways, all dimensioned to common imperial and metric bay sizes. The 9.5" wide steel plank adds width without adding height. Its 240 mm surface gives workers a more comfortable platform than a 9" / 228 mm board, while the low profile keeps the deck close to the original frame or system height.

240mm Low-Profile Deck

The plank is pressed from Q235 steel with a shallow rib or flat surface, keeping the platform low for interior work, narrow frames and low-level access towers.

Pre-Galvanized Finish

A pre-galvanized zinc coating is applied before punching and forming, giving the plank day-to-day corrosion resistance during handling and storage without the heavier cost of a full hot-dip bath.

Lengths for Common Bays

The ASP family runs from the 0.60 m ASP110 board through the 3.05 m ASP10 plank, matching 2 ft, 3 ft, 4 ft, 5 ft, 6 ft, 7 ft, 8 ft and 10 ft bay lengths used on frame and modular systems.
