Interlocking Toe Board
Engineered to international standards for safety, speed and durability on every job site.
Overview
The Interlocking Toe Board — also called a scaffold toe board or steel toe board — is a narrow steel barrier that clips along the open edge of a scaffold platform to stop tools, mortar and small materials from being kicked off. Its interlocking ends let boards join end-to-end without gaps, creating a continuous kick-plate line along the platform perimeter. Used on ringlock, cuplock and frame systems, it is a simple but critical part of scaffold edge protection.

Key Features
- Steel kick-plate for scaffold platform edge protection
- Interlocking ends create a continuous gap-free line
- Pressed Q235 steel with hot-dip galvanizing
- Fits ringlock, cuplock and frame scaffold systems
- Fifteen lengths from 0.60 m to 3.05 m
- Compliant with EN 12810 / EN 12811, ANSI, AS/NZS 1576 and OSHA
- ISO 9001 quality with FOB Shanghai delivery
An interlocking toe board is a steel kick-plate made to sit at the outer edge of a scaffold deck. The board stands above the walking surface and blocks loose items from rolling or sliding off the platform, while its interlocking hook or slot ends let adjacent boards connect into one continuous line without gaps. Most designs are pressed from Q235 steel and hot-dip galvanized for outdoor durability. ACE SCAFFOLD manufactures interlocking toe boards for ringlock, cuplock and frame systems in standard lengths from 0.60 m up to 3.05 m, with ISO 9001 quality and FOB Shanghai delivery.
An interlocking toe board is the small steel barrier that closes the gap between the scaffold deck and the guardrail. It stops tools, mortar and debris from being kicked off the platform and provides a visual and physical edge warning for workers.
Continuous Edge Protection
Installed end-to-end along the open sides of a platform, interlocking toe boards create a continuous kick-plate line. The interlocking ends lock each board to the next, eliminating the small gaps that ordinary boards can leave.
Steel Construction with Hot-dip Galvanizing
Pressed from Q235 steel and finished with a hot-dip galvanized coating, the toe board resists impact, site moisture and corrosion. The zinc layer gives long service life on outdoor and coastal projects.
Fits Ringlock, Cuplock and Frame Systems
The board profile matches the common modular scaffold platforms. It drops in or clips to the platform edge depending on the system, so the same toe board style can be used across ringlock, cuplock and frame scaffolds.
Fifteen Standard Lengths
From 0.60 m (1'11") up to 3.05 m (10'), the SSTBL range covers short bay edges up to full-length platform runs, letting crews choose the right board without cutting.
