Overview

The Ringlock Scaffolding Ladder Bracket — also called a ringlock ladder bracket or 17" ladder holder — is the steel bracket that locks a ringlock access ladder to a scaffold tube so it cannot shift or tip. It is built from a 5×50 mm hot-dip galvanized steel flat bar formed to a 17" (431.8 mm) overall length; the U-shaped fork ends are spaced 15.5" (393.6 mm) centre-to-centre to receive the ladder side rails. The ladder is pinned to the forks with M12×1.75×65 hex bolts and hex nuts (2 sets), while the bracket itself mounts to any Ø48.3 mm standard or ledger with a 1/2" scaffold clamp (CMP1/2) secured by an M16×2 lock nut and an M16×40 socket countersunk head cap screw. Because the clamp grips the tube, the same bracket works on standards or ledgers, inside or outside the tower, and suits all section heights of 17" wide ringlock ladders. In practice, the ladder bracket turns a ringlock ladder into a fixed, safe climbing route. The bracket body is a 5 mm thick × 50 mm wide hot-dip galvanized steel flat bar formed to a 17" (431.8 mm) overall length. Two U-shaped fork ends spaced 15.5" (393.6 mm) centre-to-centre hold the ladder side rails, and M12×1.75×65 hex bolts with M12 hex nuts (2 sets) pin the ladder to the bracket so it cannot twist or kick out. The bracket connects to the scaffold through a 1/2" scaffold clamp (CMP1/2) that grips any Ø48.3 mm tube and is secured with an M16×2 lock nut and an M16×40 socket countersunk head cap screw. Because the clamp works on standards and ledgers, the same bracket fits the inside or outside of the tower and can be moved up level by level. A single 1/2" scaffold clamp (CMP1/2) grips standards or ledgers and is locked with an M16×2 lock nut and an M16×40 socket countersunk head cap screw.

M12 Bolts Pin the Ladder

M12×1.75×65 hex bolts with M12 hex nuts (2 sets) pass through the fork ends and the ladder side rails, holding the ladder at two points so it cannot shift or tip. The design suits all section heights of 17" wide ringlock ladders.
