The Scaffold Cage Insert - also called a scaffold basket insert or cage basket - is a steel mesh container that drops into a Scaffold rack to form a secure basket for clamps, couplers and small fittings. Model CSCI weighs 25 kgs and is built from square-tube framing and welded mesh, so loose accessories stay contained, visible and easy to move with the rack rather than spilling into open bins.

The Scaffold Cage Insert is designed to fit into the Scaffold rack, forming a basket for storing smaller scaffold items like clamps and accessories. A cage insert is a demountable steel basket designed to sit inside a Scaffold rack. Rather than letting small parts pile loose in the rack bay, the insert forms a contained cage so clamps, couplers, screws, base plates and fittings are held together, counted and moved as one load. ACE SCAFFOLD supplies the cage insert in model CSCI, fabricated from Q235 square tubes and welded mesh and finished in hot dip galvanizing, electro-galvanizing or powder coating for yard, site and marine exposure. The insert breaks down into a few pieces that lock together for fast assembly and flat, low-volume storage when not in use, and is compatible with common Scaffold racks.

What a Scaffold Cage Insert Does

The insert drops into the rack bay and forms a mesh cage. Instead of loose components sliding around the rack frame, the small parts sit inside the basket where they stay visible, ventilated and protected, yet simple to lift out when a task needs them.

Compatible with the Scaffold Rack

Model CSCI is sized to drop into common Scaffold racks, so a site can pair the basket with its existing racking. The insert moves with the rack by forklift or lifting gear, keeping the small-parts load contained through storage, transport and between jobs.

Square Tube and Mesh Build

The cage is built from Q235 square tubes with welded mesh infill. The open mesh keeps contents visible and drains water, while the square-tube frame gives the basket its shape and rigidity under repeated site handling.

Knock-down for Easy Storage

The insert is supplied as a few pieces that lock together for assembly and break down flat for storage. When the basket is not needed, it stacks in a small footprint, which keeps the yard tidy and frees space for other racking.

Galvanized or Powder Coated
