Overview
The Ringlock Scaffolding Standard — often called a ringlock vertical or upright — is the main load-bearing column of a ringlock scaffolding system. It is a high-strength steel tube fitted with welded rosettes at uniform 500 mm intervals; each rosette gives 8-way connectivity so ledgers and diagonal braces lock in at any angle with a single hammer-driven wedge. Standards join end-to-end through spigots to form a continuous scaffold leg of almost any height.

On the job, a standard stacks onto the next with a spigot connector to build one continuous scaffold column, while the rosette node carries ledgers on its four small holes and diagonal braces on its four large holes — distributing load through a single centre. The rosette is the heart of the ringlock standard.
