Cuplock Swivel Face Brace
Engineered to international standards for safety, speed and durability on every job site.
Overview
The Cuplock Swivel Face Brace - also called a cuplock swivel blade brace or cuplock diagonal brace - is the diagonal bracing member of a cuplock scaffolding system. It is a Ø48.3 mm steel tube fitted with a swivel blade at each end that drops into the bottom cup of a cuplock vertical and is locked by the forged top cup, triangulating the bay for stability. Offered in four stock sizes from 1.52 m (CFB50, 8.70 kgs) to 2.5 m (CFB82, 10.57 kgs) and hot-dip galvanized for site life, it is built to OSHA, ANSI and CSA guidelines with a 4:1 safety factor, ISO 9001 quality and FOB Shanghai delivery from ACE SCAFFOLD.

Key Features
- Ø48.3 mm Q235/Q345 carbon steel tube, hot-dip galvanized
- Swivel blade at each end rotates to lock into the cuplock bottom cup
- Cup-and-blade action locks with one hammer, no loose bolts
- Four stock sizes: 1.52 m (8.70 kgs) to 2.5 m (10.57 kgs), HDG
- Stabilizes bays - max 3 unbraced bays before a diagonal is needed
- Built to OSHA, ANSI and CSA guidelines, 4:1 safety factor, ISO 9001, FOB Shanghai
On a cuplock scaffold, the cuplock swivel face brace is the diagonal that keeps a bay square and stable. It is made from Ø48.3 mm steel tube with a forged swivel blade at each end. The swivel blade rotates to seat into the welded bottom cup of a cuplock vertical at almost any angle, then the forged top cup is rotated and tapped down to lock it - no loose bolts. A scaffold run can be raised with horizontals only for a maximum of three bays; the fourth bay must carry a diagonal so the structure stays plumb and shored. Our cuplock swivel face braces are hot-dip galvanized Q235/Q345 carbon steel, built to OSHA, ANSI and CSA guidelines with a 4:1 safety factor, ISO 9001 quality and FOB Shanghai delivery from ACE SCAFFOLD.
Cuplock Swivel Face Brace
The cuplock swivel face brace is the diagonal bracing member of the cuplock system. It is a Ø48.3 mm steel tube with a swivel blade at each end that drops into the cuplock bottom cup and locks with the top cup, triangulating the bay for rigidity.
Swivel Blade Lock
The forged swivel blade rotates to seat into the welded bottom cup of the cuplock vertical at almost any angle. Rotating and tapping down the forged top cup locks it with a single hammer blow, giving a rigid diagonal node without loose bolts or fittings.
Bracing the Bay
A scaffold run can be built with horizontals only for a maximum of three bays; the fourth bay must take a diagonal so the frame stays plumb and shored. The swivel blade fits any cuplock node, so you can brace squares, rectangles and long runs in one system.
Hot-dip Galvanized
Every cuplock swivel face brace is hot-dip galvanized Q235/Q345 carbon steel for corrosion resistance on site, coastal and offshore projects, and is built to OSHA, ANSI and CSA guidelines with a 4:1 safety factor.
