Swivel Base Jack
Engineered to international standards for safety, speed and durability on every job site.
Overview
The Swivel Base Jack is an adjustable screw jack whose base plate is bolted to two lugs so the whole stem can pivot up to 180 degrees. This keeps the plate flat on sloped or uneven ground while the standard above stays plumb, and it levels the scaffold where a fixed base jack cannot. Model SSWBJ24 weighs 4.5 kgs, is supplied galvanized and ships FOB Shanghai from ACE SCAFFOLD.

Key Features
- Swivel plate pivots up to 180 degrees on a bolt for sloped ground
- Keeps the plate flat on the surface while the standard stays plumb
- Hollow or solid stem; the 38 mm hollow stem fits 48.3 mm OD standards
- Jack nut gives fine height adjustment for the first lift
- Fits ringlock, cuplock, kwikstage, frame and tube-and-clamp systems
- Q235 carbon steel, galvanized, 4.5 kgs, FOB Shanghai from ACE SCAFFOLD
The Swivel Base Jack combines a threaded screw rod, a jack nut and a base plate that is not welded to the stem. Two lugs rise from the plate and the stem turns between them on a bolt and nut, so the plate can sit flat on sloped ground while the stem and the standard above remain plumb. Turning the jack nut raises or lowers the standard for fine height adjustment, and the plate spreads the leg load into the foundation. Hollow and solid stems are available, and the jack works with ringlock, cuplock, kwikstage, frame and tube-and-clamp systems. ACE SCAFFOLD supplies swivel base jacks FOB Shanghai with OEM/ODM available.
What a Swivel Base Jack Does
The Swivel Base Jack is an adjustable screw jack built for ground where a fixed base plate cannot sit flat. When the scaffold stands on a slope, the plate has to rest fully on the surface while the standard above it stays plumb. The swivel plate makes both possible at the same time, so the leg carries load evenly even on noticeably inclined sites.
How the Swivel Plate Works
Unlike a fixed base jack, whose stem is welded to the center of the plate, the swivel base jack carries two vertical lugs on the base plate. The stem sits between the lugs and turns on a bolt and nut, so it can pivot up to 180 degrees while the plate rests flat on the ground. The jack nut on the thread still raises and lowers the standard for fine height adjustment.
Hollow and Solid Stems
Swivel base jacks come with a hollow tubular stem or a solid round bar stem. The 38 mm hollow stem is the most common size and fits inside the 48.3 mm OD standards of ringlock, cuplock, kwikstage and quick lock systems. Solid stems carry more load at the same size; ACE SCAFFOLD supplies either type to order.
Where a Swivel Base Jack Is Used
Use the swivel base jack on sloping ground, ramps and stepped terrain, and anywhere the first lift has to start from different elevations. It also fine-tunes the height of the first lift so the ledgers read level before erection continues. The jack works with ringlock, cuplock, kwikstage, frame and tube-and-clamp scaffolding as well as shoring.
Galvanized Finish
SSWBJ24 is supplied galvanized for corrosion resistance in outdoor and site conditions, protecting the thread, the lugs and the plate through repeated use and storage.
