The Half Clamp, also called a half coupler or single coupler, is the single-ended fitting that ties a scaffold tube to a fixed surface. A forged body clamps the 48.3 mm tube while a bolt or T-bolt pulls it tight against the wall, beam or column so the scaffold ties back to the structure. Used at the tie-in points of tube-and-clamp scaffolding, it anchors standards, ledgers or braces to brickwork, steelwork or concrete without cutting or drilling. The drop-forged steel carries the tie load across the contact face, and the hot dip galvanized finish resists corrosion on site and outdoors.

What a Half Clamp Does

The Half Clamp is the single-ended coupler that fixes a scaffold tube to a wall, beam or column. Use it to tie tube-and-clamp scaffolding back to an existing structure, anchor a standard or ledger to a building face, or build a temporary handrail or loading platform against a wall.

How the Clamp Fixes the Tube

A forged jaw grips the 48.3 mm tube and a bolt or T-bolt draws the clamp tight against the surface. The single body holds the tube square to the wall so the tie stays fixed under load.
