Overview
The Ringlock Scaffolding Double Ledger — sometimes called a double-ring ledger, twin-tube ledger or reinforced ledger — is a horizontal member built from two parallel Ø48.3 mm tubes welded into one rigid assembly, giving a ringlock bay roughly twice the deck and load capacity of a single ledger. It spans between two standards and carries steel planks, transoms and side brackets across wide bays where a single-tube ledger would deflect or overload.

On site, a double ledger is the fix when the bay has to carry heavy façade loads, wide plank decks or cantilevered platforms that a standard single ledger cannot. The two tubes share the span, halving deflection and roughly doubling the load a single ledger could take, so crews can build larger open bays without adding more standards. Each end keeps the same forged ledger head with a captive wedge that drops into the rosette's small holes and locks the bay rigidly under load — exactly like a standard ledger — so a double ledger drops straight into any ringlock grid. Double ledgers are rolled from Ø48.3×3.2 mm Q345/S355 high-strength steel, hot-dip galvanized for coastal, offshore and long-life site use, built to EN 12810 / EN 12811, ANSI and AS/NZS 1576 with a 4:1 safety factor, and supplied under ISO 9001 quality from ACE SCAFFOLD, FOB Shanghai.
The double ledger carries the heavy bays. Where a single tube would sag or overload, two parallel tubes share the load and keep the deck flat and safe.
Two Tubes, Double Capacity
The double ledger welds two Ø48.3 mm tubes into one rigid member. They share the span, so mid-bay deflection is roughly halved and the supported load is about twice that of a single ledger — ideal for wide decks, heavy cladding loads and cantilevered brackets.
Same Rosette, Same Wedge
Each end keeps the standard forged ledger head with its captive wedge, locking into the rosette's small holes exactly like a normal ledger. No new fittings, no new training — it simply replaces a single ledger where the load demands it.
Steel & Finish
Double ledgers are rolled from Ø48.3×3.2 mm Q345/S355 high-strength steel and hot-dip galvanized for site, coastal and offshore service. Welds follow AWS D1.1 for clean, flat joints that seat planks and brackets squarely.
