Overview

The Ringlock Scaffolding Ladder — also called a ringlock access ladder, steel ladder or monkey ladder — is the fixed vertical access of a ringlock scaffold tower. It is built as two Ø31.8×2.0 mm steel side rails joined by Ø25.4×2.0 mm non-slip rungs at 12" (304.8 mm) spacing, and it is held on the frame by ringlock ladder brackets (RSALB): each bracket clamps to a standard or ledger with its 1/2" scaffold clamp, while the ladder side rails drop into the bracket's U-shaped fork ends and are pinned with M12×1.75×65 hex bolts and M12 hex nuts so the ladder cannot shift or tip. So instead of climbing the scaffold frame, crews step up a fixed, purpose-built ladder that meets OSHA access requirements. On site, a ringlock ladder turns a bare standard bay into a safe, climbable access route. The ladder does not hook over the tube by itself — it is fixed to the tower with ringlock ladder brackets (RSALB). Each bracket clamps to a standard or ledger with its 1/2" scaffold clamp and grips any Ø48.3 mm tube; the ladder side rails then drop into the bracket's U-shaped fork ends and are pinned with M12×1.75×65 hex bolts and M12 hex nuts, so one bracket low and one high hold the ladder at two heights and it cannot twist away from the frame or kick out at the base. The climbing route can be set on the inside or outside of the scaffold and moved up level by level as the tower rises. Rungs sit at a comfortable 12" (304.8 mm) spacing on a 17" (431.8 mm) wide face, and the anti-slip surface keeps footing secure in wet or dusty conditions. Because the ladder is a separate bracket-mounted component, it never interferes with planks or bracing and is as quick to relocate as the working platform itself. Held by Ladder Brackets, Not Hook Ends

The ladder is fixed to the frame with ringlock ladder brackets (RSALB). Each bracket clamps to a standard or ledger with its 1/2" scaffold clamp and grips any Ø48.3 mm tube, and the ladder side rails drop into the bracket's U-shaped fork ends, pinned with M12×1.75×65 hex bolts and M12 hex nuts. One bracket low and one high hold it at two heights — no twisting away from the frame, no kick-out at the base. Move the brackets with the platform as the tower goes up.

Two Ø31.8×2.0 mm steel side rails carry Ø25.4×2.0 mm rungs at 12" (304.8 mm) spacing across a 17" (431.8 mm) wide face. The side rails seat into the RSALB ladder bracket's U-shaped fork ends, and the joint is locked by M12×1.75×65 hex bolts with M12 hex nuts (one set at each side rail). The anti-slip rung surface keeps footing secure in wet, dusty or greasy conditions.
