ACE SCAFFOLD manufactures cuplock scaffolding — also called cup lock or cuplock system — a straightforward modular steel-pipe scaffold with 4-direction cup-and-blade locking for fast, heavy-duty assembly. Standards, ledgers, braces, transoms and top cups build both access and formwork shoring in one system, with each node carrying 11.12 kN (2500 lbs) and full machine-welded (AWS D1.1) joints. Hot-dip galvanized and EN 12810-tested, our cuplock scaffold suits civil, oil & gas and bridge falsework, and is exported to 65 countries. Cuplock scaffolding — also called cup lock, cup scaffolding. It is a straightforward modular steel-pipe system with 4-direction cup-and-blade locking, built from standards, ledgers, braces, planks and transoms for access, and deck beams, infill beams and drop heads for formwork shoring.
Cuplock scaffolding offers rapid, effortless assembly and disassembly, structural stability and reliability, comprehensive component options, high versatility and high load-bearing capacity. Safe, easy to fabricate and resistant to component loss, it simplifies management, transport and on-site work — greatly improving efficiency. It has won several domestic and international awards and was named by the Ministry of Construction as one of the ten key new technologies to promote before 2000.
Cuplock Scaffolding Application
Cuplock is an established steel-system scaffold that is easy to erect and safe, making it popular for civil and oil & gas projects — birdcage, access, temporary support and concrete shoring. The hot-dip galvanized Cuplock system is a proven heavy-duty support: relatively light, quick to assemble and multi-purpose, serving both falsework and access. It suits building and civil engineering such as motorway bridges, offices and retail developments.
The cup-lock node accepts up to eight combined ledger and brace connections. Each connection safely carries 11.12 kN (2500 lbs); the total ledger load must stay within the recommended leg load for the given bracing. Standards and ledgers are fully machine-welded for clear, flat, seamless joints, with welders trained to AWS D1.1 for butt and fillet welding.
