The Swivel Adaptor Clamp joins a ringlock rosette to a scaffold tube that does not need to sit at a fixed angle. One side of the clamp drops onto the rosette and is locked with a wedge or bolt; the other side carries a hinged or rotating tube grip that closes on a 48.3 mm outside-diameter tube. Because the grip can swivel around the rosette fastener, the tube can leave the scaffold at the angle required by the layout rather than a preset 90 degrees. The forged steel body keeps the joint rigid once the bolt is tightened, and the hot dip galvanized finish protects the clamp on site. It is made to EN74, BS1139, EN12810 and ASTM standards and fits ringlock and compatible rosette scaffolding.

What a Swivel Adaptor Clamp Does

The Swivel Adaptor Clamp fixes a scaffold tube to a ringlock rosette while letting the tube angle be adjusted around the bolt axis. Use it where a tube must leave the scaffold face at an angle that is not 90 degrees, such as a sloping brace, a transition handrail or an offset connection.

How It Connects to the Rosette

The clamp presents a rosette interface on one face and a tube grip on the other. The rosette end drops onto the ringlock rosette and is locked with its wedge or bolt. A swivel joint between the rosette plate and the tube grip lets the grip rotate so the tube can be set to the required angle before the bolt is tightened.

Forged for a Rigid Joint

Built from forged steel, the clamp keeps the tube-to-rosette joint rigid once the swivel bolt is tightened. The hinge or lug that carries the tube grip is sized to take the working loads of a perpendicular or angled tube without deforming.

Hot Dip Galvanized Finish

TCSWAC is supplied hot dip galvanized for corrosion resistance in outdoor and site conditions, protecting the clamp through repeated assembly, disassembly and storage.
