Scaffold Caster 12 Inch
Engineered to international standards for safety, speed and durability on every job site.
Overview
The Scaffold Caster 12 Inch is a heavy-duty swivel castor wheel fitted to the base of a scaffold frame or tower so the whole structure can be rolled to a new position without being taken apart. The wheel swivels for steering and the foot brake locks it firmly in place for work at height. Model RSLC12 weighs 15.00 kgs and is supplied FOB Shanghai from ACE SCAFFOLD.

Key Features
- Heavy-duty 12 inch swivel castor for mobile scaffold towers
- Rolls the whole scaffold to a new position without dismantling
- Foot-operated brake locks rolling and swivelling for safe working
- Polyurethane tread on a steel core for smooth, quiet rolling
- Fits frame, ringlock, cuplock and kwikstage scaffold towers
- RSLC12, 15.00 kgs, supplied FOB Shanghai from ACE SCAFFOLD
The Scaffold Caster 12 Inch mounts at the base of a scaffold frame and combines a swivel bearing, a pressed steel fork and a 12 inch wheel, so a fixed tower can be rolled across the site and locked in place for work. The polyurethane tread rolls smoothly over concrete and leaves no marks on finished floors, while the foot brake locks the wheel and the swivel so the structure stands firm with men and materials on the platforms. The castor suits mobile access towers, painting and finishing work and any job where the scaffold has to be repositioned often, and it works with frame scaffolding as well as ringlock, cuplock and kwikstage towers. ACE SCAFFOLD supplies scaffold casters FOB Shanghai with OEM/ODM available.
What a Scaffold Caster Does
The Scaffold Caster 12 Inch is fitted to the base of a scaffold frame or tower so the whole structure can be rolled to a new position without being taken apart. One worker can move the tower across level ground, and once the casters are locked the tower stands firm for work at height.
Wheel and Fork Construction
Each castor combines a swivel bearing, a pressed steel fork and a 12 inch wheel with a polyurethane tread bonded to a steel core. The polyurethane tread rolls smoothly and quietly over concrete, leaves no marks on finished floors and resists wear on rough site ground.
Brakes and Locking
The castor carries a foot-operated brake that locks the wheel and the swivel at the same time. With the brakes on, the tower cannot roll or steer, so men and materials can work on the platforms safely. Always lock every caster before anyone climbs the tower.
Mounting Options
Scaffold casters are supplied in three mounting styles: a flat plate that bolts to the frame base, a round spigot that drops into the frame leg tube, and an adjustable-stem version that can compensate for uneven ground. Choose the style that matches the leg of your frame or system tower.
Moving and Positioning a Tower
Roll the tower only on firm, level ground with nobody on the platforms. Steer by pushing the tower from the side, move it slowly over short distances, and lock all casters once the tower reaches its working position. For other wheel sizes, 6 inch, 8 inch and 10 inch casters are available on request from ACE SCAFFOLD.
