Scaffold Base Jack
Engineered to international standards for safety, speed and durability on every job site.
Overview
The Scaffold Base Jack is an adjustable screw jack fitted to the base of a scaffold standard to level the structure on uneven ground and transfer the load safely down to the foundation. Model SBJ24 weighs 3.8 kgs with a galvanized finish and is supplied FOB Shanghai from ACE SCAFFOLD.

Key Features
- Adjustable screw jack levels scaffold standards on uneven ground
- Threaded screw rod with welded or cast base plate and nut
- Spreads the load and keeps the scaffold stable on soft sites
- Fits ringlock, cuplock, kwikstage, frame and tube-and-clamp systems
- Galvanized finish for outdoor and site corrosion resistance
- Q235 carbon steel, 3.8 kgs, supplied FOB Shanghai from ACE SCAFFOLD
The Scaffold Base Jack is the first component of a scaffold column. A threaded screw rod sits in a welded or cast nut on a flat base plate; turning the rod raises or lowers the standard so the working platform sits level even when the ground is not. It spreads the load across the base plate and keeps the scaffold stable on soft or uneven sites, and it works with ringlock, cuplock, kwikstage, frame and tube-and-clamp systems as well as shoring and formwork.
What a Scaffold Base Jack Does
The Scaffold Base Jack is the starting point of every scaffold leg. Mounted under the vertical standard, its screw thread lets a single worker bring the whole bay to level on sloping or soft ground, so the platform above stays safe and even.
Main Components
A base jack is built from three parts: a threaded screw rod, a flat welded or cast base plate, and the nut that rides on the thread. The base plate spreads the standard load across the ground, while the screw and nut give the fine adjustment that levels the structure.
How To Level A Scaffold
Set the base jack on firm, level ground and drop the standard onto the rod. Turn the nut, or the rod, to raise or lower each leg until the first ledger reads level, then build up from there. Keep the adjustment within the safe travel so the rod stays engaged in the nut.
Adjustable Height
The screw gives a controllable rise and fall at the base of the standard, letting one bay follow the contour of the site. Standard lengths and plate sizes are available, and ACE SCAFFOLD can supply non-standard sizes to a customer drawing.
Galvanized Finish
SBJ24 is supplied galvanized for corrosion resistance in outdoor and site conditions, protecting the thread and plate through repeated use and storage.
