Overview

The Cuplock Horizontal - also called a cuplock horizontal ledger or cuplock ledger - is the horizontal load-bearing member of a cuplock scaffolding system. It is a Ø48.3 mm steel tube with forged ledger blades at each end that drop into the welded bottom cup of a cuplock vertical and are locked by the forged top cup, forming the rigid frame bays that ledgers, braces and planks span between. Offered in nine stock lengths from 0.91 m (CH30, 3.72 kgs) to 3.05 m (CH100, 11.80 kgs) and hot-dip galvanized for site life, it is built to OSHA, ANSI and CSA guidelines with a 4:1 safety factor, ISO 9001 quality and FOB Shanghai delivery from ACE SCAFFOLD.

On a cuplock scaffold, the cuplock horizontal ledger is the transverse member that ties the vertical standards into a frame. It is made from Ø48.3 mm steel tube with a forged ledger blade at each end. The blades drop into the welded bottom cup of the cuplock vertical and are locked by rotating and tapping down the forged top cup, so the ledger seats firmly with no loose bolts. Each bay takes up to four ledgers at one node, letting you build squares, rectangles and long runs of access or shoring in a single system. Cuplock Horizontal Ledger

The cuplock horizontal ledger is the transverse member of the cuplock system. It is a Ø48.3 mm steel tube with a forged ledger blade at each end, so it locks to the cuplock vertical with the same cup-and-blade action as the standards.

Cup-and-Blade Lock

The forged ledger blades drop into the welded bottom cup of the cuplock vertical. Rotating and tapping down the forged top cup locks them with a single hammer blow, giving a rigid four-way node without loose bolts or fittings to lose on site.

Bay Sizes and Frame Build

Nine stock lengths run from 0.91 m (3 ft) to 3.05 m (10 ft), so you can set the bay width to the deck and the load. Each node accepts up to four ledgers, building squares, rectangles and long runs of access or shoring in one system.

Hot-dip Galvanized

Every cuplock horizontal ledger is hot-dip galvanized Q235/Q345 carbon steel for corrosion resistance on site, coastal and offshore projects, and is built to OSHA, ANSI and CSA guidelines with a 4:1 safety factor.
