Overview

The Cuplock Caster Adapter - also called a cuplock caster base or scaffold caster adapter - is a forged steel fitting that drops into a cuplock cup node on a standard and carries a swivel caster wheel, turning a fixed cuplock tower into a movable unit so the scaffold can be rolled to a new position without being dismantled. It seats with a forged blade that drops into the bottom cup and locks with the top cup, keeping the standard cuplock geometry intact. Offered as the CCA model at 5 kgs in hot-dip galvanized steel, it is built to OSHA, ANSI and CSA guidelines with a 4:1 safety factor, ISO 9001 quality and FOB Shanghai delivery from ACE SCAFFOLD.

On a cuplock scaffold, the cuplock caster adapter is the quick way to add mobility without rebuilding the bay. The adapter seats on a cuplock standard at any cup node: a forged blade drops into the welded bottom cup and the forged top cup is tapped down to lock it with a single hammer blow, so the fitting sits rigidly on the standard while leaving the rest of the node free. From that node the adapter carries a swivel caster on a central pin or bolt so the wheel can swivel and roll freely, letting crews move a cuplock bay for edge work, layout changes or short repositioning, then lock it back into service as a normal scaffold. Because the adapter uses the cuplock cup node rather than a loose clamp, nothing projects into the climbing space and the tower keeps its standard geometry. Cup-Node Seating

Mobile Cuplock Bays
