Overview

The QES Scaffold Brace is the diagonal brace of the Quick Erect Scaffold (QES) system — a hot-dip galvanized steel member with stamped wedge connectors at each end that drop into the forged rings of the QES post to hold the bay square and resist racking. Its wedge connectors are pressed (stamped) from scaffold tube in the same way as the QES horizontal, giving a consistent, tool-free lock across posts, horizontals and braces. Offered in seven lengths from 3' (QD3) to 10' (QD10), the QES brace keeps QES bays plumb and stable on fast-erecting assemblies. The QES Scaffold Brace is the diagonal brace of the Quick Erect Scaffold (QES) system. It is a hot-dip galvanized steel member with stamped wedge connectors at each end — the same pressed steel wedge used on the QES horizontal — that drop into the eight openings of the forged rings welded to the QES post, locking the brace square without loose parts or tools.

Diagonal bracing is what keeps a QES bay from racking and holds the frame plumb under wind and working loads. With posts, horizontals and braces as the three principal components, QES erects quickly for fit-out, maintenance and confined-entry work.

QES Scaffold Brace Lengths

Seven standard lengths cover most layouts: 3' (QD3), 4' (QD4), 5' (QD5), 6' (QD6), 7' (QD7), 8' (QD8) and 10' (QD10). All are hot-dip galvanized for durability and long service life on site.

The QES Scaffold Brace works with our QES Scaffold Post and QES Scaffold Horizontal to form square, stable bays of the QES Scaffold system.
