Overview

The QES Scaffold Base Collar - also called a QES base collar or Quick Erect Scaffold base collar - is the galvanized steel ring fitting that sits at the foot of a QES post and provides the first forged-ring connection point at ground level. It carries the QES forged ring so the bottom bay uses the same captive-wedge horizontals as every other lift, letting the tower start square and level on a base plate or screw jack. The QES Scaffold Base Collar is the base fitting of the Quick Erect Scaffold system - a hot-dip galvanized steel collar that clamps over the foot of the QES post and carries a forged ring, so ledgers and braces can lock in right above the base instead of leaving a weak, open first lift.
